Can my child sit in my lap?
Each person, including small children, must have a his or her own seat and a ticket.

Where are the best seats for children?
Young children like to sit close so they can see all the small details, lace on the costume, color of the dancer's eyes etc. After age 8, audience members enjoy seeing the bigger picture - the patterns made by the dancers and the beauty of the dancers' footwork. The further away you sit, the easier it is to take in the whole stage.

Yes, sufficient wheelchair and companion seating is available for each venue. Contact us at or call 650-835-1035 ext. 102 to inquire about purchasing wheelchair and companion seats.

Is the ballet appropriate for my 3 year old?
Parents know best if their child is able to sit during an entire ballet. Still, children who can sit quietly through a 45-minute act are welcome at the ballet performance.
